Meet Ronaldo!

Today I bought my very first, very own car!!! I am now the proud owner of a Rav 4, and it is beauuutiful. I have named it Ronaldo, in the tradition of naming the cars with the first letter of the type of car (so you can say very smoothly, Ronaldo the Rav!) of course I dont usually bring up the fact that I name my car as some people may view this as erratic behavior, but what's life without a little fun and craziness?

Without any further ado:

So it turns out either this car makes me look tiny, or I make this car look huge! It's Toyota's smallest SUV so I don't think it's really all that big.  But look at that rack! Perfect for skiis, or a bike, or a kayak, or whatever other adventurous things I decide to take up that may need me to attach something up there. (I just need to find a tall strong man to put my bike/kayak/skiis up there!) Lots of space in the back to pack all my stuff in when I move to Colorado NEXT WEEK! wow. Anyway it's much bigger than my tiny Camry. Speaking of which, I showed the car today to one very nice man, and learned that you really can't judge people through the phone (duh, but i did it anyway).  He's in the army, and very nice but quiet person (which is refreshing actually, and probably why I judged him while I was on the phone).  He and his wife are helping his 18 yr old son get a car. Really nice, good people. I think they liked it, but they need to talk to him, i guess he's been looking at a lot? I've got another person coming to look at the car this evening, and someone else tomorrow morning. Hopefully it will sell!!!

Tonight I'm taking the new car up to Raleigh to meet Alana for dinner, and then we're going to hear my mom sing with her chorus that is apparently #2 in the world? They do Sweet Adeline's, which is like female barbershop but instead of 4 people there are 20 (or something like that).  There's a lot of glamor and glitz involved. She loves it and they actually sound very good. Should be interesting!!

That's all for now. There may not be a post tomorrow, as I take the boards in a week from tomorrow so really that means lots of studying, and nobody really wants to know about that! Who knows, maybe there will be a surprise blog? Stay tuned...
